For six years, I’ve been up and running pursuing a dream not many of my ancestors realized for themselves. The workforce isn’t for everyone and when I accepted that included me—I truly knew freedom. The journey has been a long one and along the way I’ve done so much. I’ve worked in Koreatown, Los Angeles at one of the only braidshops around—Braid Queen LA. I’ve worked on set with Katy Perry during her stint on American Idol as a stylist and hair artist. I’ve styled Algee Smith an African American actor for the hit series Euphoria on HBO. I’ve worked on set with the reggae artist “Soaky” as her lead hair artist. For one of the most premiere talent companies. My services have admittedly humble beginnings but these accolades show my skill isn’t of the ordinary variety. That’s what lead to my continued migration to climates more in need of my services and products.
